Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Furriq, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Furriq Does

Furriq provides photo quality checks, coat-pattern guidance, and AI-assisted visible-trait explanations. The service may suggest possible breed influences, but a photo-only workflow cannot prove ancestry.

Not Professional Advice

Furriq is not veterinary advice, DNA testing, breeder verification, adoption screening, or a guarantee of breed identity. Use results as educational clues only.

Accounts, Guest Trials, And Credits

Guest users may receive a limited trial quota. Registered users may receive initial or daily credits depending on the active configuration.

Quotas and credits are limited to control cost and abuse.
Credit costs, trial limits, and commercialization mode may change over time.
Quota-exhausted or credit-exhausted states may ask you to register, wait, or upgrade.
We may revoke or adjust credits if fraud, abuse, payment reversal, or technical error is detected.

AI Providers

When real AI generation is enabled, photos and prompts may be sent to configured third-party AI providers. Provider availability, latency, and output quality can vary.

Payments

Pricing and upgrade pages may be visible before paid checkout is fully enabled. A payment is valid only when a configured payment provider creates a real checkout and confirms a paid state through its callback or webhook.

We do not treat a local placeholder, missing provider configuration, or failed checkout as payment success.

Refunds

Refund eligibility, how to request a refund, and processing times are described in the Refund Policy. A refund does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you want to cancel, follow the steps on your billing settings page.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

upload illegal, harmful, or non-cat content;
attempt to bypass guest quota, credits, rate limits, authentication, or payment controls;
reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service;
use the service for decisions requiring professional, veterinary, legal, or breeder certification.

Intellectual Property

The Furriq interface, content, and product logic are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Photo Submissions And License

When you upload a cat photo, you grant Furriq a limited, non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and, where needed for the service, display or briefly store that photo. This license exists only to run the identifier and related features. You keep full ownership of your photo.

We do not use uploaded photos for advertising, sell them, or share them beyond the processing described in the Privacy Policy.

You can ask us to delete a photo you uploaded, or the data generated from it, at any time by emailing support@furriq.com. We will honor reasonable deletion requests.

Suspension Or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if fraud or abuse is detected, or if operating the service becomes unsafe.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Furriq is provided as-is. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or reliance on AI-generated clues.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date on this page.
