DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

Furriq respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

Submitting a DMCA Notice

If you believe that material available on Furriq infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our designated copyright agent. Your notice must include the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the work you claim has been infringed, and if multiple works are covered, a representative list.

2. Identification of the infringing material — The specific URL or location on Furriq where the allegedly infringing material is located, with enough detail for us to locate it.

3. Your contact information — Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

4. A statement of good faith — A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

5. A statement of accuracy — A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

6. Your signature — A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notice

If you believe that material you posted was removed or access to it was disabled as a result of a mistaken or misidentified DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the Southern District of New York if your address is outside the United States).

Repeat Infringers

Furriq reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
